Mr. Andrews graduated from Milton High School in 1971. He is a graduate of the University of Florida, with honors, where he was a National Merit Scholar and Florida Board of Regents Scholar and the University of Florida College of Law. Mr. Andrews is a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida State Bar, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Florida and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Andrews is Past President of the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Foundation and the Milton Kiwanis Club.
Mr. Andrews practices primarily in the fields of real estate and government law. He is the city attorney for the City of Milton and represents the Santa Rosa County Property Appraiser, the Santa Rosa County Tax Collector and the Santa Rosa Bay Bridge Authority. Mr. Andrews has successfully brought suit for the property appraiser to apply ad valorem tax levies to improved properties on Navarre Beach, an issue of statewide impact because the owners hold title under long-term leases with the county. His expertise in governmental law, real estate litigation, property transactions, probate and trust is widely recognized. Mr. Andrews consistently secures for the owner top dollar for eminent domain, condemnation actions by DOT and other agencies. He has been a lawyer in this firm for more than 30 years.
